Firstly, I would absolutely encourage raiding your grandmother’s wardrobe first, but the high street is making the trend increasingly easy to buy into, with everything from crisp white cotton and soft linen to butter yellow, powder blue and delicate florals. The newer shapes feel looser, lighter and far less prim than the name suggests, which makes them surprisingly easy to work into an everyday wardrobe.
