More information is coming out following the death of Lil Jon‘s son, Nathan Smith.

Earlier this month, the 55-year-old rapper’s son, who was known professionally as DJ Young Slade, was confirmed dead by his family. He was 27-years-old.

Nathan was reported missing on February 3 after leaving his Milton, Georgia home “under unusual circumstances.” Police found his body three days later in a nearby pond.

On Friday (February 27), Nathan‘s official cause of death was revealed.

Keep reading to find out more…The Fulton County Medical Examiner found Nathan‘s cause of death to be “drowning in the setting of psilocybin use, according to an autopsy report obtained by People. The manner of death has been ruled an accident.

Per the report, a blood sample tested positive for psilocybin, which is described as “a pharmacologically active hallucinogenic compound of psilocybin — hallucinogenic mushrooms.”

Under the pathologic diagnosis, the report also confirms that Nathan’s body was recovered from a retention pond and starts that there was water-immersion wrinkling on his hands.
