It’s a busy time to be a member of the Kardashian family.
First this week, Kim Kardashian split from Pete Davidson after nine months of dating, with sources indicating that hectic work schedules and long distances were to blame for the break-up.
And now?
We can confirm that Khloe Kardashian has welcomed her second child!
About a month after Kardashian confirmed that she and her ex Tristan Thompson were expecting a second child via surrogate… this new arrival has, well arrived.
It’s a boy.
As far as we know, both he and the woman who delivered the child are in good health.
Khloe, of course, gave birth in April 2018 to a daughter named True — not long after learning that True’s dad had cheated on her while she was extremely pregnant.
Khloe would eventually forgive Thompson and the stars would even try to date again on multiple occasions.
Only for Tristan to continually kiss and sleep around behind Khloe’s back.
On his 30th birthday in March 2021, Thompson had unprotected sex with a woman named Maralee Nichols, who would eventually sue him for paternity of the kid they created as a result of this act.
In January, after having previously denied his role in Nichols’ pregnancy, Thompson accepted the results of a DNA test and apologized to Khloe.
“Khloe and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters,” an insider told People Magazine last month after the surrogacy news broke.
By all accounts, Kardashian was unaware that Thompson had fathered yet another child when she agreed to use his sperm for surogacy.
Still, she doesn’t regret her decision.
“Khloe is so thrilled to expand her family,” Us Weekly has reported in the wake of her son’s birth.
For her part, Khloe has always been open about wanting to give True a sibling.
During a February 2021 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she told Tristan:
“True’s getting older and I feel like it’s now time to have another kid.”
The reality star had been told by a doctor, however, that she was at “high-risk” for miscarriage or other complications if she were to get pregnant again.
“This is all really shocking to me,” Kardashian added in her confessional early last year.
“All I’m trying to do is bring more love into my life and into my family, and I just seem to be running into more and more roadblocks.
“It’s really hard for me to digest.”
As for her reaction to Thompson impregnating Nichols?
“I am replaying every event, every grand gesture, every trip [and] every date. All of that was a lie,” Khloe confessed during a June episode of her family’s Hulu show.
“How were you able to not say something? I feel just not really in my own body. … Everything is an act of betrayal. Everything is a lie.
“Everything is manipulation [and] it is deceit. Did Tristan have every opportunity to tell me? Yes. Was Tristan going to tell me if there wasn’t a baby involved? Absolutely not.
“And that shows a lot about his character. The entire thing is despicable.”
So valid. So well said.
But this should be a happy and blessed time for Khloe, so let us conclude on a positive note:
