How did Cassidy achieve Serena Van Der Woodsen’s messy up-do from Gossip Girl?
- With her hair down, Cassidy pushed her hair back off of her face and used a bridal belt from Amazon as a headband.
- She tied the belt underneath her hair and then sectioned off two thirds of her hair into a bun.
- Concentrating on a hair underneath, she then sectioned it into two.
- With one of the underneath sections she twisted the hair and tied it with a hairband, before repeating with the second underneath section.
- When both sections were twisted and tied, she then pulled the twist up into itself and pulled it tighter before pulling one of the twists through the other and bobby pinning them tight to her head.
- You repeat this process for another two times, taking down another third of the hair and repeating, and then the final third of the hair and repeating.
- Cassidy then pinned any stray hairs into the messy up-do to neaten everything up ever so slightly.
