Natasha Parker is receiving much support from her Bachelor In Paradise co-stars after a shocking betrayal by her sole romantic interest, Brendan Morais. Since the show commenced, Natasha only had eyes for the 31-year-old, who won the hearts of fans on Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette. Brendan was seen as a “good guy,” even when he pulled himself from the running of being Tayshia’s fiancé because he wasn’t emotionally ready. But now, viewers and members of the franchise are alike are seeing Brendan in a different light and adamantly defending Natasha.
During Monday night’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise, Natasha’s worst fear came true. Pieper James, who appeared on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, hit the beach after rumors swirled that she and Brendan were an item prior to filming. Instead of chatting with various men before choosing one to go on a date, Pieper instantly chose Brendan. At dinner, they let slip that Brendan was basically using Natasha to stick around until Pieper’s arrival. In his opinion, he was doing Natasha a favor because she had “no other prospects.” When Natasha confronted Brendan about leading her on, he told her she has “selective hearing” and misread his intentions with her.
On the heels of the dramatic episode, Natasha shared on Instagram the quote, “You deserve the love you give,” followed by a photo of herself smiling with a drink. She slammed Brendan in the caption, stating that “#integritymatters.” Natasha’s castmates flooded the comment section of the post with words of support. Deandra Kanu said, “I’m so proud of you for being your authentic self. What’s meant for you NEVER misses you.” Hannah Ann Sluss said, “You deserve a real man.” Victoria Fuller, who recently blasted producers for their treatment of contestants, said, “I love you sm Tash. You are worthy. You are beautiful. You are a QUEEN. Don’t you ever forget that. And if someone does happen to forget this they can gtfo.”
Meanwhile, poor-taste posts from Brendan and Pieper barely received any acknowledgment from castmates. Brendan‘s pool picture with the caption, “Here for the wrong reasons,” received some laughing emojis from “Queen” Victoria Larson. Pieper posted a snapshot of herself standing on an empty cobbled street, which she captioned, “All’s fair in love and war.” In the comments, Kit Keenan asked for advice on tying her sweater top. Comments from fans largely criticized the duo for wasting people’s time and demanded they leave the show. After the two bragged about how many social media followers they had gained by appearing on Bachelor In Paradise, numerous fans informed Brendan and Pieper that they unfollowed their accounts.
At this point, it seems there won’t be a happy ending for Natasha on Bachelor In Paradise. Though she has a strong bond with Ivan Hall, it’s more of a friendship than anything romantic. However, if Natasha chooses to see the process through and not voluntarily pack her bags, anything is possible on the show. Oftentimes, contestants will give someone a rose, not because they are attracted to them, but because they feel the person deserves to stay another week.
