Every Witcher Game & Cyberpunk 2077 Offered In Discounted GOG Bundle

There is a discounted GOG bundle that is offering every Witcher game and Cyberpunk 2077 for less than $90.  Those interested should act quickly, as this steeply discounted publisher bundle this won’t last forever.

The Witcher game series is a crowd-pleaser, with its last entry, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, winning countless accolades from critics. Fans of series developer CD Projekt Red are incredibly excited for the release of their next gargantuan open-world RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. That title has had fans waiting since 2013 and, for a long time, was thought to be vaporware. After a long and ongoing string of delaysCyberpunk 2077‘s new release date is November 19, 2020. All of this is of course offered on GOG, the digital games distribution platform owned by CD Projekt, the in-house publisher of CD Projekt Red’s games.

GOG‘s Ultimate Red Collection is a great opportunity for gamers who haven’t yet experienced The Witcher series and for those looking to grab Cyberpunk 2077 at a cheaper price before its release. The collection also includes The Witcher Adventure Game and Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, which fans of the mainline games might have missed. Quickness is key, though, as the bundle is only discounted until July 4. For buyers of the bundle, they’ll also receive a discount on Cyberpunk 2077 items in the CD Projekt Red merch store for anyone looking to spruce up their wardrobe with officially licensed clothing and accessories. As do all GOG products, these CD Projekt Red games come DRM-free in the form of serial codes.

For the unitiated, The Witcher Adventure Game is a digital take on The Witcher tabletop RPG, while Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is a story-focused card game set in the the series’ universe. Noticeably missing from the bundle is any content for Gwent, the free-to-play (and effectively pay-to-win) collectible card game that laid the mechanical groundwork for the latter title. Altogether, the entire contents of this collection retail for $160, so nabbing all six titles in one go for little more than the likely launch price of Cyberpunk 2077 is quite the bargain.

While this sale doesn’t represent the best prices possible for The Witcher games, which frequently go on sale, its main appeal is a cheaper entry point for Cyberpunk 2077. The bundle loses a lot of its value for players own even one or two of The Witcher games, but it’s undoubtedly a great place to start for those who have yet to discovery why CD Projekt Red has skyrocketed to success in recent years. However, those who’ve already tasted Griffin blood and visited Kaer Morhen may be better off pre-ordering Cyberpunk 2077 separately.
