Gayngs Return with New Song “Appeayl 2 U”: Listen

Gayngs, the electronic neo-soul collective led by Justin Vernon, has re-emerged after an extended hiatus. They shared a new song called “Appeayl 2 U” from a recently relaunched Twitter account. Take a listen below.

The band released their only studio album Relayted in 2010. The original lineup featured Har Mar Superstar, the Rosebuds’ Ivan Howard, and Megafaun’s Brad Cook, but none of them appear on “Appeayl 2 U.” A number of guest vocalists, including Velvet Negroni and Naeem Juwan, appear on the song, as does drummer Joe Westerlund. Ryan Olson, an original Gayngs member and frequent Vernon collaborator, produced the track.
