As we approach day 6249420 of lockdown (forgive us for the gross exaggeration but that’s kind of how it feels), we’re becoming increasingly enamoured with interiors. And feeding our infatuation is the newly blurred line between fashion and home styling: the two are tied more closely together than ever before. Need proof? Simply open your Instagram app.

In lieu of being able to get out and about, the fashion set (Monikh Dale and Megan Ellaby, we’re looking at you) are sharing stunning snaps of their homes on the daily – styling every corner to perfection and turning their bedrooms into photogenic AF OOTD backdrops.

There’s no denying that having a house or a property to decorate is a total privilege, but knowing where to start can be a tad overwhelming. Where are these fashion gals getting their clocks/cushions/cutlery from? How do they find such beautiful pieces? And what will transform my space while remaining worthy of a spot in my collection forever? So. Many. Questions.

Luckily, we’re here to spill the beans. The answer is, quite simply, Selfridges. It’s there that you’ll find all of the on-trend yet timeless, chic and not-too-expensive interiors that you’ve been spotting on the feeds of the fash-pack. So in celebration of a few more weeks to be spent at home, we’ve whittled down Selfridges’ entire homeware section to an edit of 25 of the most-wanted products. A flat Monikh would be proud of is just a click away.

There are a few influencer-loved trends to bear in mind as you shop. Anything inspired by nature is hot property right now. As we become mindful of what we eat, how we treat the planet and what we buy, we’re understanding that our environment plays a vital role in our wellbeing. And since we can’t go outside as much as usual, connecting with the outside world through natural-looking textures, sustainable materials, earthy hues and ethical hand-crafted ceramics is important. Rattan pieces (benches, chairs and storage baskets) are among those that can’t be restocked quick enough. Scroll through our edit and you’ll find a rattan-covered glass carafe which we’ve already added to our baskets.

We’re also embracing eccentricity (a la Megan Ellaby’s guest bedroom), favouring a vibrant colour palette to brighten our walls and moods. We’re juxtaposing printed fabrics with wallpapers, posters and artwork by way of showing our personalities and individual styles. Fan of the trend? This beautiful printed throw by Los Angeles design house Slow Down Studio is set to make waves.

In short: you’ll find every trend that your favourite influencers are loving right there in Selfridges. So without further ado, here are their best homeware pieces to shop now.
