Like Netflix, Disney+ will be bringing a whole lot of original content to the table in the coming years – at launch, brand new Star Wars series “The Mandalorian” is the big draw on that front – and one of the streaming service’s most exciting projects that’s on the horizon is Marvel’s animated series “What If…?”, based on the comic series of the same name.
Under the “What If…?” umbrella, Marvel is able to imagine major moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe playing out quite differently, and one of the episodes will bring Zombie Captain America to the small screen. The A.C. Bradley-created series isn’t set to arrive on Disney+ until 2021, but today we’ve got some brief teaser snippets to whet our appetite.
And yes, Zombie Captain America is featured in one of those short teaser clips that was part of a Disney+ preview special released today, squaring off against the Winter Soldier.
