It’s not often Emma Stone and husband Dave McCary make a public appearance, but when they do, sports games are their preferred date-night outing. Sporting a fresh new bob, the “Cruella” actor enjoyed the Los Angeles Lakers vs. New York Knicks game with the former “Saturday Night Live” director on Jan. 31. Celebrities including Michael B. Jordan, Hasan Minhaj, and a newly-bald Pete Davidson were also among the star-studded courtside crowd.
The new parents were last photographed together at a San Diego Padres vs. New York Mets baseball game, where they were booed for showing off their Padre pride. In a stadium full of Mets fans, the pair shrugged and toasted the crowd in their Padre bomber jackets when they appeared on the Jumbotron. While Stone and McCary have never attended a red carpet as a couple, they’ve offered glimpses of their romance over the years sitting courtside at sports games.
Since the two first met on the “SNL” set in 2016, they’ve been notoriously private. Though they announced their engagement via McCary’s Instagram in December 2019, they reportedly wed in secret in the fall of 2020. In March 2021, Stone gave birth to a baby girl, named Louise Jean McCary after the actor’s grandmother, Jean Louise Morgan.
