Mary-Kate Olsen jumped her way to an impressive third-place ranking during an equestrian event in Rome on Saturday, as reported by Britain’s Daily Mail. The 35-year-old co-star of Full House, Passport To Paris, and Beastly competed in the Longines Global Champions Tour, a serious equestrian occasion, not merely an affair for celebs who want to horse around.
As the Daily Mail notes, Olsen first fell in love with riding at the age of six and competed in the Global Champions Tour when it was held in France in 2019.
While the British paper says Mary-Kate came in third during a Saturday event, the GCT website also lists her as second place for a “2 Phases Special” competition that was held on Thursday.
Olsen’s partner in success is Iowa Van Het Polderhof, a 13-year-old gelding sired by Kashmir Van Schuttershof and Blue De Toi Van Het Polderland. Here’s a video of young Iowa from back in 2016. Sugarcubes and flowers for all, we say!!
