It was an end of an era for the Kardashians and their fans last night as their longstanding reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, came to an end with a special reunion show.
After 15 years and 20 seasons, the hit E! show has officially wrapped but the famous family didn’t leave without reflecting and reminiscing on some of their best (and worst) moments over the years in a sit-down with king of all reality TV reunions, Andy Cohen.
The star of the Real Housewives franchise hosted the one-off Kardashian reunion show, where he asked momager Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall all the tough questions viewers have been dying to ask.
Did Kim really call paparazzi on herself back in the day? Where does Kylie stand with her ex Tyga now? Does Kris really work harder than the devil? These are just a few of the things we’d like answers too and luckily, our man Andy was there to deliver.
Here are five new things we learnt about the Kardashians from the season 20 reunion show…
1. Kris named the most ‘difficult’ daughter to manager
Famous momager Kris has always handled all of her kids’ deals and business negotiations. When she was asked which of them was the hardest to work with, she didn’t shy away from answering, revealing that it was her eldest daughter, Kourtney.
While Kourtney agreed, she explained why, saying: “I don’t want to do things if it’s not something I’m really into doing. So my answer is ‘no’ to most things, and if it’s going to be ‘yes,’ I want to know everything I’m being asked of.”
On the other hand, Kris also revealed the easiest daughter to manage, naming supermodel Kendall.
2. Kim admitted being “super desperate” for fame
It’s not the first time Kim has spoken candidly about her younger self and how much she was wanted to be in the limelight. While she denied ever calling paparazzi on herself, she did admit to making sure she was at all the right places to be noticed. “I would stop off at Robertson’s, I would stop off at the Ivy to pick up something to go, even if it was some bread to go,” Kim joked. “I think I can talk about it because it’s so funny. I think people need to be more honest about those moments in life when you’re just super desperate and want that.”
3. The sisters’ friends were their biggest haters when they became famous
Kourtney spoke candidly about the hate and jealously the family got from the people closest to them when the show took off. “Don’t you remember having so many haters of our friends?” she said. “Our close friends were such haters and so jealous.”
The sisters explained that their mum, Kris, was especially “alienated” from her group of friends, with Khloe adding: “They really shunned you for a while and then by, like, season three or four, they all now want to be invited to her things.” Meanwhile, Kendall admitted that she was bullied at school for being on TV in the first few seasons.
4. The family addressed Kris’ internet reputation as a devilish mastermind
When asked if she really is the manipulative mastermind behind all of her family’s media scandals over the years, Kris denied it, saying her job is more about organising the chaos and coming up with great solutions. Her daughters also came to her defence, saying the whole mastermind narrative “is really fun for social media, but in reality I have so much respect for her because she deals with so much.”
5. Kylie revealed where she’s at with Tyga and why Travis Scott wasn’t on the show
Kylie’s ex boyfriend Tyga made regular appearances on the show when the two were dating between 2011-2014, their break-up was never really addressed on-screen as the youngest sister likes to keep her relationships private. But never one to shy away from awkward questions, Andy asked Kylie where she stands with Tyga today, to which she responded: “We’re not friends. But we are OK. If I see him out or if I run into him anywhere, you know, I always wish him well. I have no bad feelings towards him.”
She was also asked why her on-off boyfriend and father of her 3-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, never made a real appearance on the show. “I don’t know,” she answered.”I guess, sometimes, he didn’t want to be filmed. I never pressured him to be on the show.”
