After Andra Day’s Golden Globes win on Sunday night, we expect her home was flooded with flowers and celebratory gifts. She certainly deserves to be lavished with praise after such an iconic performance in The United States vs. Billie Holiday — but one gift stood out from the bunch, courtesy of a certain Queen Bey. That’s right, Beyoncé sent Andra her best wishes after the actress took home the award for best actress in a motion picture drama.
On Tuesday night, Andra shared a photo of a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a card from Beyoncé. “You make us all so proud,” the “Spirit” singer wrote. “A huge congratulations!” Andra paired the picture with a pretty spot-on GIF (see below). We can’t blame her for fangirling over the lovely gift and kind words. We’d love to see these two collaborate in the future — give us a song, a music video, a movie, anything. We’re ready.
