We’re hardly surprised that it’s Gap Bieber has chosen to partner with. It’s a brand Glamour editors have turned to for quality denim for years – and if their previous drop with Victoria Beckham is anything to go by, they’re keeping up with current trends and their consumers’ demand for buzzy collections, too.
The Hailey Jeans – available in two shapes and three colourways – feature characteristically relaxed fits. Essentially, she’s offering two fresh takes on the brand’s classic jeans styles, taking inspiration from her favourite vintage Gap pairs.
Both the Extra Baggy and Low-Rise Loose straight-leg jeans are available in three custom washes (light indigo, medium indigo and dark) and come finished with ‘1996’ design details, hinting at the model’s birth year — and coincidentally, her favourite style era.
Every piece in the limited-edition capsule is crafted from 100% cotton rigid denim – the kind of denim that needs breaking in and won’t lose its shape over time — and is finished with Hailey’s signature print inside the pocket. Oh, and priced between £60 and £70. Adore.
“Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically,” says Hailey Bieber. “1996 was the year I was born, and I get a lot of style inspiration from the ’90s because there was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim. We wanted the campaign and the collection to capture that same feeling in a way that felt modern, nostalgic and personal.”
