The Odyssey is easily shaping up to be one of the biggest and most acclaimed films of 2026 thanks to its Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan and absolutely stacked cast of A-list stars.

Matt Damon plays Odysseus
Matt Damon plays the titular role of Odysseus in the movie after previously working with Nolan on films like Interstellar and Oppenheimer. He has described working on The Odyssey as the “pinnacle” of his entire career, saying he “loved every minute of it.”
Matt is a world-famous A-list star with several awards under his belt, including an Academy Award. He’s best known for Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr. Ripley, the Bourne franchise, and the Ocean’s trilogy.
