Milly Alcock celebrated the world premiere of Supergirl along with her co-stars in Brooklyn, New York.
The Craig Gillespie-directed movie is set to open in U.S. theaters on June 26, with David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult making an appearance at the premiere as well.
Based on Tom King’s 2022 comic book series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which Bilquis Evely illustrated, Ana Nogueira adapted the comic book for the big screen.

Supergirl also stars Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, and Jason Momoa as Lobo.
The logline for the superhero film reads, “When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an epic, interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.”
The House of the Dragon alum knows how passionate comic book fans can be and is ready for possible backlash over her role.
“It definitely made me aware that simply existing as a woman in that space is something that people comment on,” she said in an interview with Vanity Fair. “We have become very comfortable having this weird ownership of women’s bodies. I can’t really stop them. I can only be myself.”
