Southern Charm: Why Cameran Wrote The Book, ‘One Day You’ll Thank Me’

Why did Cameran Eubanks from Southern Charm decide to write her book, “One Day You’ll Thank Me?” The narrator and fan-favorite left the show this past season due to some seedy rumors one of her co-stars started.

Cameran has always been the voice of reason behind Southern Charm but fans learned that she would not be joining season 7. The mother of one was known as the narrator of every episode with her witty commentary and quick recall. She gives advice to Craig Conover, Shep Rose Austen Kroll, and anyone else who needs it and has been a steady figure as an original cast member. The new season is underway, and many Bravo fans believe the show just isn’t the same without her.

Even though Cameran may be gone from fans’ TV screens she will be able to grace their coffee table in book form. Her new memoir is set to touch on her venture into reality television while also giving her honest take on relationships and parenthood. People revealed that it would also include life’s messiest moments.

The memoir will consist of a collection of essays and will give readers and fans an honest look into her crazy life. Cameran told the outlet, Nothing brings me more joy than being a mom. However, motherhood is also by far the hardest thing I have ever done. Ever.” The 36-year old went on to say, “One reason I wrote this book was that I didn’t connect with the flawless parenting images I saw on social media. For me, they could not have been further from the truth.” Cameran wanted her book to be an inspiration and for her readers to learn a valuable lesson that just because something may not be social media worthy does not mean it isn’t right saying, “I feel like many women don’t talk about what you really go through as a new mom. Perhaps it’s because they don’t want to be labeled as depressed, admit that they didn’t have this Instagram-worthy experience or seem like they don’t have their act together.”

Bravo fans are looking forward to hearing her voice again in their heads as they read about her own experiences and truth. Even though Cameran is not on the current season she is still playing a big part in the recent episodes since fans watched Kathryn Dennis try to spread a vicious rumor about her family. Luckily, Craig shut them down, but fans do wish that Cameran was there to defend herself.
