The Lovebirds features comedy heavy hitters Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani as Leilani and Jibran, a couple on the brink of a breakup who get caught up solving a murder that they’re unwilling accessories to. (Never let people into your car when they’re chasing people!) The trailer highlights some of the extreme — and hilariously ridiculous — circumstances the two find themselves in while trying to clear their names and survive the night. Talk about wayward dinner plans!
