Usher & Chris Brown Take the Stage at Same Music Festival as Details Emerge About Their Alleged Altercation the Night Before

Both Usher and Chris Brown hopped onstage at the Lovers & Friends Music Festival on Saturday (May 6) as details continued to emerge about an alleged altercation they had.

If you missed it, a report earlier in the day suggested that the musicians exchanged heated words at Chris‘ birthday party on Friday night at the Skate Rock City roller rink in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A video suggested that Chis was arguing with Usher and Teyana Taylor. The “Yeah” hitmaker was allegedly later seen with a bloody nose, leading to speculation that the argument got physical.

In the leadup to the festival, a report began circulating that speculated about what might have caused a fight.

An updated report from TMZ suggested the argument between Chris and Teyana was about a performance at the 2022 American Music Awards that he claims was cancelled at the last minute.

She was reportedly “involved in the planning of that performance,” which ultimately fell through.

When Teyana allegedly didn’t engage with Chris, he reportedly demanded that Usher kick her out of the venue. He was supposedly trying to calm the situation down, which is how he got involved in the first place.

ET reported that Usher might have also had bruised ribs after the alleged fight.

Despite all of that, both musicians performed as though nothing had gone wrong the night before.

A few months before the fight, Chris implied that he was cancelled as a result of racism and cited examples of white celebrities that he felt were treated better than him in similar situations.
