It was one of the biggest trends on the spring / summer catwalks; silver is set to be major for 2023. And it seems that silver trousers, in particular, are the item the fashion pack can’t wait to wear. We’ve spotted every iteration of the millennial metallic on our feeds recently, and the more we see them, the more we think silver trousers are absolutely a good idea.
The silver trousers on our minds aren’t super-sparkly sequin trousers that you might have worn over the festive season. For spring, and beyond, metallic-coated jeans, lamé or lurex fabrics and leather or leather-look trousers are the ones to watch.
You could (and should) wear your party season faves outside of December to make your purchases more sustainable, but Spring’s silver trouser trend errs more on the side of minimalism. Yes, even with the most extra type of trousers known to humankind, it’s possible to be subtle. And that’s why they are a look we totally want to get on board with, just like these super-stylish women.
