Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and Vanessa Morgan Leave “Riverdale” Set For a Girls’ Night Out

Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Toni Topaz aren’t the only ones who know how to party. On Jan. 23, Camila Mendes shared photos from a fun-filled girls’ night out with her “Riverdale” costars Lili Reinhart and Vanessa Morgan over the weekend. “GNO,” she captioned the photos, followed by a series of dancing-woman emoji. “I [heart] us,” Morgan commented on the post.

The night consisted of cocktails, wine, and lots of laughs shared over a plate of loaded fries. The trio have been filming the final season of “Riverdale” since October, and the evening offered an opportunity to leave work behind. In the final slide of Mendes’s gallery, Reinhart squeezed into a car seat, smiling wide as her friends snapped a photo. Morgan added, “It’s the car seat at the end for me,” followed by a cry-laugh emoji.

In the comments section, fans noted the absence of Madelaine Petsch, who frequently spends time with her “Riverdale” family. In October 2022, Reinhart, Mendes, and Petsch even dressed up as the Sanderson sisters from “Hocus Pocus.” While Petsch didn’t share a reason for her absence, she did chime in with a comment. “Wahhh miss you babies,” she wrote.

Filming for the seventh and final season of “Riverdale” is set to end in June, with the season premiere slated for March 29. We can only hope the cast will continue to share snapshots from their offscreen hangouts once filming is complete. Given that they’ve spent the better part of a decade together making the supernatural show come to life, our hopes are high.
