Fans are convinced that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are already married (or at least engaged) after the rapper dropped a major hint in his latest music video.
It’s been a pretty hectic year for the love-up pair, having announced in January 2022 that they’re expecting their first child and making their red-carpet debut at the Met Gala back in September 2020. Although they opted to skip the prestigious event this year, Rihanna was still honoured with a marble statue based on her Vogue cover shoot because, well, she’s Rihanna.
If that wasn’t enough, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have got us talking all over again thanks to A$AP’s new music video, “D.M.B.”, which is basically a love letter to Rihanna. Alongside some powerful visuals, the video sees A$AP propose to Rih via some grills, which read “Marry me.” Rihanna’s red-lipped smile then reveals her own set of diamond-studded grills, reading “I do.” Phenomenal work, guys. In the video for “D.M.B” – which stands for “dat’s mah bish” – Rihanna wears a scarlet-red, mesh veil, which A$AP lifts over her head before revealing his unconventional proposal. They then share a kiss before walking hand-in-hand through a crowd of well wishers covering them in rose petal confetti.
The video has received a lot of love so far, with one fan tweeting, “Asap Rocky really has the hardest visuals in the rap game and no one can tell me different,” while another wrote, “There’s not a single artist in the world that can compete with ASAP Rocky’s music videos. His visuals are next level,” and another added, “Rihanna and Asap Rocky in D.M.B, it’s been 5 years since rih was in a video omg we missed u so much.”
