“Bridgerton” season two is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited about all the new drama and romances ahead. While last season took us on a wild journey with Simon (Regé-Jean Page) and Daphne’s (Phoebe Dynevor) relationship, the upcoming season promises to be just as thrilling with its new leading lady, Kate Sheffield (Simone Ashley). Though the Duke of Hastings will not be returning for this adventure, a bigger spotlight will be on Daphne’s brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) as he attempts to look for a wife.
The latest teaser trailer for the Netflix series arrived on Feb. 14, and as expected, it welcomed a message from our beloved Lady Whistledown. “Dearest gentle reader, did you miss me?” she says in the clip. In the trailer, she notes that while everyone has been racking their brains trying to figure out her identity, she’s been busy herself honing her skills and sharpening her knives.
The new clip puts a spotlight on Kate and Anthony’s courtship and assures us that Lady Whistledown has even more gossip to share with us, so we can only imagine what else lies ahead. In addition to the show’s growing cast — which includes a handful of new stars — we have more details about what to expect in season two. Read ahead for everything you could possibly want to know, including the full cast, plot, trailers, and first-look photos.
