The hard-working convertible colour stick can be swiped over cheeks, lips and even eyelids, if you fancy, for a flush of fresh, natural-looking luminous colour. The buildable balm can be blended into skin and sheered-out or layered up for a more dramatic hit of colour. There’s 10 shades to choose from, all with names that nod to Ari’s musical theatre background. stage mom is a nude apricot, standing o is a rich burgundy, leading lady is a vibrant red and curtain call is a soft coral, for starters.

It’s been a busy stretch preparing this next chapter for us. But, alongside adding makeup creator to her list of accolades, Ariana’s also picked up an extra side-hustle as a beauty vlogger/content creator, in response to fans demanding to know more about how she uses and applies her makeup. She recently appeared in a video with makeup artist and drag superstar Gottmik on r.e.m. beauty‘s YouTube channel and there’s more to come.
In the meantime though, we asked Ari to share the makeup hacks that have taken her makeup to the next level with GLAMOUR readers. “A fun thing to do if you don’t nail your cat eye the first time is to kind of like tweak it with your nail,” she says, using the long side of her nail to clean up and wing out her liner to make it ultra precise. “That’s something that Josh [Liu, Ari’s hairstylist] taught me,” she says, revealing the secret behind her slick wings. “And then my makeup artist, Manthony (he’s incredible), he taught me a cute little button, nose contour trick,” she says dotting the end of her nose with her ring finger. “I’ll do it in one of my videos – cuz now I make those videos, I guess,” she says shyly. “I’ll have to show you, but yeah, it’s really cute. It’s just a cute little button highlight,” she smiles. You can mix it up to change your mood, given her interstellar highlight toppers (£22) already come in cosmic shades of mint, lavender, vivid gold and champagnes. “Step right up and take a pick,” she laughs. And that’s the whole point of this next chapter, too. To provide extra avenues for expression, in some truly delicious ways.
