The Floor is back with a new twist!
The hit FOX game show, hosted by Rob Lowe, returns for its Season 6 premiere on Sunday night (September 13), bringing together a new group of contestants for a special champions-themed season.
What Time Is The Floor Season 6 on Tonight?
The Floor Season 6 premieres tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
The special premiere, titled “100 Champions Enter the Ring,” will air from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Tonight’s episode is a special advance premiere ahead of the show’s regular fall time slot. The Floor will have its time-period premiere on Wednesday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
What’s Different About The Floor Season 6?
Season 6 is bringing together 100 experts who are all champions, title holders or record setters, according to FOX.
The contestants will compete to take control of the Floor and ultimately win the show’s $250,000 grand prize.
There’s also a brand-new weapon entering the game this season called The Power Shot.
FOX says the new twist will allow players to essentially become a “human randomizer,” adding another strategic element to the competition.
How Does The Floor Work?
The competition takes place on a giant game floor divided into 100 squares, with each contestant beginning the game in control of one square representing their area of expertise.
Contestants face off in head-to-head trivia duels, with the winner taking control of their opponent’s territory while the losing player is eliminated.
The competition continues until one contestant ultimately takes control of the entire Floor and wins the grand prize.
Rob returns as host for the new season.
