Jordyn Woods is defending Jaden Smith being a part of her wedding to Karl-Anthony Towns.
The 28-year-old model tied the knot earlier this month with the 30-year-old New York Knicks basketball player.
In a new TikTok post, Jordyn addressed criticism of her lifelong close friend, Jaden Smith, having such a big role on their big day.
“‘why is Jaden with all of the girls?’” Jordyn quoted over the first photo, while adding on another, “And helping Karl with his shoes?”
Jordyn‘s response? “Because he’s never missed an important moment in my life,” she wrote over a photo of them as kids sitting in a stroller.
“So grateful to have the epitome of a day ONE. From diapers to marriage. I can’t wait for his wedding one day but until then,” she added in the caption. “He’s never missed a birthday, showing up at my dads funeral and making us all laugh, to now getting married. I’m so lucky I’ve never had to know a life without our friendship.”
Jaden didn’t just help Karl with his shoes, he actually custom-made them for the groom.
“My Best Friend Got Married And I Made Karl Size 20 Red Bottoms. Jordyn I Love You So Much Congratulations Karl I Love You Bro Keep The Swag On High,” he shared on Instagram after the wedding.
