Comedian Hannah Berner is getting into the dating business.
Berner is to host Paramount+’s dating reality series Making Love.
Deadline broke the news of Making Love in March; the series is the streamer’s first unscripted original order since David Ellison’s Skydance took over the studio.
The streamer hasn’t detailed the format of Making Love but called it a “bold new relationship experiment which gives singles a completely original and unique opportunity to take destiny into their own hands”.
Berner is a stand-up with specials including Netflix’s We Ride At Dawn and Hulu’s None of my Business, which came out earlier this year. She starred on three seasons of Bravo reality series Summer House and hosts the Giggly Squad podcast with Paige DeSorbo. The pair are also developing a half-hour scripted comedy for Netflix that they will write and star in with Amy Poehler and Kay Cannon producing.
Making Love comes from Love Is Blind producer Kinetic Content, which is also behind Married At First Sight. CEO Chris Coelen exec produces alongside Ally Simpson, Brent Gauches, Lauren Dunlop and Jayson Elmore.
