Scouts’ Second Season on YouTube to Premiere on Star Trek Day

Paramount revealed Saturday during its Star Trek session at San Diego Comic-Con that little kids animated series Star Trek Scouts‘ second season will debut this year on September 8, Star Trek Day.

The first preschool extension of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek Scouts follows three 8-year-old friends — JR, Sprocket and Roo — as they train to become future Starfleet Explorers by going on epic, out-of-this-world missions that push them to “discover, grow and boldly go!”

Last season ended with the Star Trek friends fending off little pink aliens (specifically, Tribbles) from a Klingon farmer’s corn crops. Scouts JR, Roo, and Sprocket are on a mission to catch all of them down before they eat all of the corn.

The show is developed and produced by Nickelodeon Digital Studio, in association with CBS Studios.

Season 1 of Star Trek Scouts is available now on Nickelodeon’s Blaze and the Monster Machines YouTube channel.
