Untold Studios Hires Adrianna Cohen As Film & Episodeic President

EXCLUSIVE: The Boys VFX firm Untold Studios has hired a president of film and episodic.

Adrianna Cohen will lead the film and episodic VFX business globally, overseeing stategy, operations and creative production and with a remit to drive growth across the international network in L.A., New York, Toronto, London and Mumbai.

Cohen’s past employers include Blue Sky Studios, Fox Animation, Mikros Animation and McKinsey & Company.

She joins the VFX firm that has worked across the likes of The Boys, Remarkably Bright Creatures, Alien: Earth and Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

The news comes several weeks after Untold hired Sara Bennett, the co-founder of recently-acquired VFX firm Milk, as a VFX Supervisor.

Untold CEO Darren O’Kelly described Cohen’s hire as a “major statement of ambition.” “Our Film & Episodic team has already delivered extraordinary work across some of the most complex and high-profile projects in the market. We now have an opportunity to build on that momentum and create something genuinely distinctive for directors, filmmakers, studios, streamers and VFX supervisors,” he added.

Cohen said: “Untold has built something rare – a truly global studio with the spirit, speed and creative intimacy of an independent. The work is ambitious, the talent is exceptional, and the technology is there to unlock better creative outcomes.”
