Fresh off a huge comeback performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia last month, JAŸ-Z isn’t done with the live stage.
The 56-year-old artist will follow his previously announced July 10-11 run at New York’s Yankee Stadium with concerts at Paris’ Stade de France on Sept. 19 and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Oct. 23. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (June 12).
JAŸ-Z has only played live on a handful of occasions since his 4.44 Tour in 2017. During his Roots Picnic set on May 30, he dusted off 32 songs from throughout his vast discography and also welcomed guests such as Jazmine Sullivan, Peedi Crakk, Freeway, Beanie Sigel and Meek Mill.
Meanwhile, the Yankee Stadium run will find JAŸ-Z celebrating the 30th anniversary of his 1996 debut, Reasonable Doubt, during the first night and revisiting 25 years of The Blueprint the next.
While signing autographs yesterday in New York, the rapper briefly acknowledged how much he is rehearsing for the upcoming shows and admitted he “hadn’t decided yet” whether to keep his newfound giant afro hairstyle.
