Summer House has been in the spotlight lately following the scandal on the Hamptons-based show, and there are rumors the series could be expanding.
The Bravo show has been spun off into Winter House for multiple seasons and took it to Martha’s Vineyard as well. There have been rumors that the Ozarks could be the next location for the show, and executive producer Steven Weinstock, co-president and CEO of Truly Original, addressed this at the Deadline Reality TV Summit.
“We’re always looking for an extension of the show,” Weinstock said when asked about a potential project in the Ozarks. “It’s not simple. The bar is very high. There’s a lot of different elements of what makes Summer House work — from a narrative point of view have got to be true in any location.”
When asked if West Wilson, who is at the center of the Summer House scandal and rumored to be the link between the show and the possible Ozarks spinoff, Weinstock said, “I can’t say.”
