One of the main accounts responsible for these posts is the viral Instagram account My Therapist Says, which has shared plenty of videos and photos relating to the emotional struggles of millennial life. In fact, the Instagram account, which began in 2015, has become such a force within the online community (now boasting 7.6million followers) that it is now getting the Hollywood treatment! The account’s co-founders, Lola Tash and Nicole Argiris, will serve as executive producers as they bring their creation to our television screens. Lola gushed on Instagram about the exciting upcoming venture: “It’s all happening. Incredibly proud of what this means for my mental health community and our loving @mytherapistsays followers. It saved me in so many ways, and I cannot wait to break more barriers, create more exciting opportunities, and build something that will empower all of us who have struggled.”
