Sydney Sweeney has channelled one of our favourite nineties beauty icons – and it’s none other than Pamela Anderson.
Yes, the Euphoria star looked pretty much unrecognisable in a brand new photoshoot, which saw her sporting a glamorous updo, made famous by the Baywatch actress.
Sydney, who used to be a brunette with bangs during her teen years, wowed in the throwback hairstyle, which saw her blonde locks piled high while teased curls dropped down to frame her face.
While the hairdo is reminiscent of the nineties, hairstylist Florido Basallo added a bow into her hair for a modern twist.
The actress, who has also starred in The Handmaid’s Tale, wowed in the sultry snap taken on top of a motorbike, and her look was completed with a crystal-embellished crop top, chainmail glitter skirt and knee-high boots. We absolutely adore this new look for Sydney!
The image was taken by legendary photographer Ellen von Unwerth for Von Magazine, with Sydney captioning the photo shared to her Instagram as: “Such an honor to work with the iconic @ellenvonunwerth thank you for having me.”
While we are used to seeing Sydney wearing dramatic, colourful make-up looks, complete with glittering rhinestones, in the show Euphoria, she still commanded attention with a sultry, contoured look complete with a statement cat-eye flick liner, etched by make-up artist Melissa Hernandez.
