Will Scott Disick be attending Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding to Travis Barker?

As Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker – AKA ‘Kravis’ – plan their wedding, there’s still one big question mark lingering around their special day.

That’s the issue of whether Scott Disick – Kourtney’s ex-partner, and co-parent to the former couple’s three children – will be in attendance, and apparently that all depends on one specific condition.

Under most circumstances, the idea of attending an ex’s wedding may sound like a recipe for disaster. After all, there are so many reasons why not: potential awkwardness for the future spouse, any lingering feelings from the one-time relationship, the sheer impossibility of even being able to remain platonic friends after a sexual partnership. Plus, who needs a reminder of a relationship gone wrong on their special day?

But, as we know, Kourtney & Scott, who according to Kourtney’s statements during the June 2021 Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion episode, broke up predominantly over Scott’s substance abuse (together with his infidelity), aren’t just run-of-the-mill exes. For a start, they’re co-parents – so their three children, Mason Dash, 12; Penelope Scotland, 9; and Reign Ashton Disick, 7, will all be there.

And, co-parenting aside, Scott Disick has remained pretty embedded in Kourtney’s professional life. Having starred in Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside his then-girlfriend Kourtney since 2007, he’s pretty much remained part of the show ever since – even despite the on-off relationship of his relationship with Kourtney, and their subsequent break-up in 2015.

True to form, Scott is apparently opting into the awkwardness of being among the wedding guests, but only if the wedding is being filmed as part of the Kardashian family’s upcoming new reality television series, simply called The Kardashians, which we know Scott will feature in (as he was featured in the trailer).

Scott’s presence at the wedding all depends on the question of filming commitments, apparently. A source close to Scott told American celebrity publication US Weekly: “If it’s filmed for sure, then [Scott] might be there.” But, if not? He will “want to stay far away from witnessing”.

Suffice to say, Scott has not – historically – been the biggest supporter of Kravis’ relationship. Last August, Kourtney’s more recent ex-partner Younes Bendjima leaked a DM sent to him from Scott where the latter mocked Kravis’ PDA in Italy. More recently, it came out earlier this month that he had unfollowed all of Kourtney’s social media accounts, which we can only assume was a bid to keep himself away from posts about her burgeoning relationship.

“It’s going to take time for him to fully accept Travis is The One for her,” a separate source offered in the US Weekly piece.

Then again, Scott has separately been more supportive of Kourtney’s relationship, telling talk show host Andy Cohen during the June 2021 KUWTK reunion episode: “I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what. So I do give her a blessing to be happy.” So there’s that.

He’s also dated almost constantly since the couple’s break-up, including a relationship with Sofia Richie, who is 15 years his junior, between 2017 and 2020. He then dated 19-year-old model Amelia Hamlin between February and September 2021, and more recently has been in a relationship with Too Hot To Handle contestant Holly Scarfone, 23.

It is not currently known whether Kourtney & Travis will opt for a public spectacle of a wedding, which is filmed for the reality show, or a more low-key, private affair reserved to close friends and family. So, while that question remains hanging in the air, we’re guessing the status of Scott’s RSVP will do so too.
