Luca Guadagnino Reunites Timothée Chalamet With Michael Stuhlbarg For Bones And All

The upcoming horror adaptation has become a Call Me By Your Name reunion.

The forthcoming adaptation of Camille DeAngelis‘s coming-of-age/cannibalism novel Bones and All has turned itself into something unexpected but always welcome: a Call Me By Your Name reunion.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Luca Guadagnino, CMBYN‘s director who is at the helm of Bones and All, has cast Michael Stuhlbarg in the new film. Previously, Timothée Chalamet had been announced as one of the main characters. Others include Mark Rylance, Chloë Sevigny, Jessica Harper, and André Holland.

Taylor Russell, seen in Waves, Escape Room, the soon-to-be-released sequel Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, and Netflix’s Lost in Space is playing the lead.

There are also two other notable members in the ensemble. Film director David Gordon Green, not known as a performer, plus Instagram sensation and dad-troller Francesca Scorsese. The 21-year-old Scorsese has already worked with Guadagnino on his HBO series We Are Who We Are, her first substantial role in what is proving to be a remarkable acting career.

The film, described as “a roadtrip through Ronald Reagan’s America,” just began shooting in the Cincinnati area. Guadagnino made a previous step into horror filmmaking with 2018’s Suspiria.

In case you need a good cry, here is a scene—the scene—between Stuhlbarg and Chalamet from Call Me By Your Name.
