I would first come to know her thru the 1995 cult-ish, slightly absurd film “Hackers” where she played a female hacker named Kate that gave guy hackers a run for there money. She would quickly escalate to several more features ranging from comedic to drama to fantasy.
Again she would raise eyebrows with her portal in the film “Gia” that signaled her to be well on her way to big things.
Known for her on screen charisma she would join Nicolas Cage in the film “Gone in 60 Seconds”, before taking on the iconic game feature titled “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider”. It would mark the start of her now A-list status that spanned the gamut of genre type roles, with a special affinity to spy and Fantasy films.
2014’s movie “Maleficent” was additionally iconic as she played the Disney character of same name. In all, Angelina Jolie’ film palette i pretty rich leading us up to the future feature from Marvel titled “The Eternals” where she will play the comic book role of Athena.
