Sen Morimoto Announces New Album, Shares New Song “Woof”: Listen

Sen Morimoto has announced a self-titled album that’s out in the fall. The Chicago multi-instrumentalist will release Sen Morimoto on Sooper Records on October 23. Listen to “Woof” from the record below.

“Thematically, the album explores self-examination–the way reality breaks the distortion of subjective experience,” Morimoto said in a statement. “Focusing on minutia, the album highlights the ways that our learned habits, such as shameful desires and righteous ideals, are inherited by everyday motions of modern American life.”

Sen Morimoto released his solo debut Cannonball! in 2018. Last year, he was on Chicago jazz ensemble Resavoir’s self-titled album.
