Big Boi Announces Inaugural Kryptonite Festival

Big Boi has announced his inaugural Kryptonite Festival, set to take place April 18 at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park in his hometown of Atlanta. The one-day music festival will feature performances by Big Boi, Goodie Mob, EarthGang, and Kneel’n Rey.

“I’ve been waiting so long to have my very own festival,” Big Boi wrote. “To have it in my city is a dream come true and we can’t wait to share this family affair with you.” Find tickets here. (Pitchfork may earn a commission from purchases made through affiliate links on our site.)

Big Boi’s last album was 2017’s Boomiverse. Last year, he portrayed Motown founder Berry Gordy in a biopic about Bobby DeBarge.
