Almost exactly one month after the first DLC dropped, Bandai Namco have released the second DLC for their anime RPG, Code Vein. Entitled “Frozen Empress,” the DLC is available now for $9.99, or as part of the Season Pass for $24.99.
Similar to Hellfire Knight, Frozen Empress introduces new weapons, blood veils, face paints, items, skins, and more. The main addition, however, is a new boss: the Frozen Empress. Defeating the Frozen Empress will grant you the Ymir Blood Code that mimics the power of the Frozen Empress, which focuses on ice elemental powers. You will also get the Blood Mist Halberd, a “high-strength scaling” lightweight longe-range melee weapon.
The DLC also includes a new area to explore in the Celestial Ice Prison, a frigid, multi-layer structure lined with ice pillars and hidden loot. You can find the map for the Celestial Ice Prison in the room extending from Crypt Spire to the Provisional Government Outskirts.
Code Vein is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
