Interview with Emily V

Hey Emily! Thank you for taking the time to chat with us today! Fill us in on what is the latest in your world! We love seeing all of your performance collaborations, do you have any Collabs planned for this year you can share with us?

Thank you!  There are no collabs I can officially announce just yet!  Stay tuned..

Speaking of performances, do you ever get stage freight or anxiety before you perform? How do you deal with it if you do.

I used to have SEVERE performance anxiety, but this has disappeared over the years and has turned into excitement for being on stage!  Sometimes, when I perform with a bigger artist, I do have some stage performance anxiety, but I quickly quiet my mind with some quiet meditation backstage by myself and I am ready to ROCK!

Tell us. What are the first and the last records you bought, and where did you buy them? Were they CD, vinyl or digital?

Gosh, my first CD I bought myself was probably “Atom Heart Mother” by Pink Floyd or “Let it Be” by The Beatles.  I’m not sure exactly sure which one came first but I can vividly remember listening to both in my bedroom as a young girl.  To this day, they are both very nostalgic albums to me, among many others.  The last album I bought was most certainly “Feral Roots” by The Rival Sons.  This is such a great album and I completely love the Rival Sons!

Share with us something unique about yourself that most people don’t know.

Something that most people don’t know about me?  Hmm..  Ok, here’s something kind of weird that I would say not very many people know about me.  I really don’t like to hear beeps and chimes from my cellphone.  I actually typically silence everything and just have my phone sitting in front of me where I can see it when I am working on music to see if someone has called or text.  I know that’s weird!

Another thing is, I LOVE sprinkles!  I am not a sweets person at all, but in that rare occasion, I love something with sprinkles!

Where can we find you online to follow and support you?
