For years, beauty ranges have failed to cater for all when it came to foundation. As a beauty journalist for the past 18 years, I often asked awkward and uncomfortable questions about why many ranges only had a couple of shades to represent the plethora of different dark skin tones.

Things are finally beginning to change with more brands realising that the black beauty pound is an untapped market. Here are some of the best brands when it comes to diversity and inclusivity.
