Robyn Brown to Divorce Kody? The Sister Wives React!

Is Kody Brown about to go from a polygamy… to monogamy …. to singledom?

Over the last few episodes of Sister Wives, viewers have watched the self-centered reality star deal with the end of his spiritual marriages to exes Christine, Meri and Janelle.

Amid playing the victim and feeling sorry for himself, meanwhile, Kody has seemingly placed his marriage to Robyn in jeopardy.

The only woman brave/stupid enough to remain by Kody’s side has publicly wondered whether she’s an idiot for doing so.

In response to speculation over the state of Robyn and Kody’s union, E! News sat down this week with two of the ladies who are fortune enough to no longer have to deal with the father of 17.

“I think they’re fine,” Christine told this outlet of Kody and Robyn, for example, quickly and casually dismissing any chatter of an impending divorce.

Janelle echoes this sentiment.

“I actually feel like that’s probably normal couple relationship dynamics,” she told E! of any issues between the spouses that TLC fans have witnessed of late.

It’s important to remember two things here:

ONE, producers will always edit content for the sake of ratings and drama.

TWO, Sister Wives Season 19 was filmed over a year ago. Any tension that has been playing out on screen, therefore, is likely old news between Kody and Robyn.

“It’s, what, three divorces in two years?” Christine also said to E! of her ex and the love of his life.

“So, their relationship will probably have some things they have to figure out because it changes the dynamic of who you are as a person. But no… I bet they’re going to be great together.”

On this season’s recent premiere, Kody admitted that “Robyn and I are really kind of in a struggling place,” while Robyn added:

“We’re probably doing the worst we’ve ever done in our marriage. It’s been tough. It’s been tough between us.”

Following his split from third wife Christine back in November 2021, Kody separated from second wife Janelle Brown in December 2022.

His first wife, Meri Brown, confirmed in January 2023 that they were finished after more than 30 years together.

“He doesn’t know who to blame, himself or one of the other wives,” Robyn explained on this same season premiere. “Kody’s feeling a lot of rejection. And so, I think he’s kind of looking at me going, ‘Are you going to reject me too?’ I’m on my toes. I’m having to consistently make sure that he is not sabotaging our relationship.”

In other words, once again… it’s all about Kody Brown.

Robyn and Kody are not doing well. They have been very unhappy… [and] it’s getting worse,” a source previously told The Sun, adding:

“Robyn is not committed to staying if things don’t change. That’s just what it has come down to. Their marriage is not going to sustain this kind of control.

“She’s not going to let her kids be raised in the same volatile, angry state that her other kids were raised in.

“Kody is turning into a mirror image of [ex-husband] David. She took her kids away from him and took his parental control away. You think she’s going to stick around for this? No.”
