‘Night Slashers: Remake’ Arrives September 26 for PC, Consoles [Trailer]

After all the teasing and more teasing, just when are we going to get Forever Entertainment and developer Storm Trident’s Night Slashers: Remake? Later this month! The teams have announced that their remake of the 1993 beat ’em up by Data East will be heading to PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG.com, the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4  and PlayStation 5, the Xbox One and the Xbox Series on September 26. A demo is also available on Steam.

Night Slashers: Remake immerses players in a nightmarish world where humanity’s last hope rests in the hands of four elite fighters: Jake Hunter, a cyborg monster hunter from America; Christopher Smith, a European vampire hunter; Hong Hua Zhao, Chinese martial arts expert and mystic; and new to the remake, Liu Feilin, a Chinese opera sensation. Together, the group is known as the Night Slashers, who must fight through an army of undead, mutants, and supernatural creatures to save the world from the brink of apocalypse.

Night Slashers: Remake stays true to the original title’s roots, offering classic side-scrolling beat ’em up action, while also offering revamped graphics, as well as expanded gameplay mechanics and new content. Not only can you now play with three other friends in 4-player co-op multiplayer, but also “set your own rules”, such as adjusting time limits, or even having exploding corpses!
