“Wolf Like Me” Clip – Josh Gad Faces Angry, Pregnant Werewolf in Season Two

A highly unique romantic comedy/werewolf hybrid, Peacock’s “Wolf Like Me” is returning for Season 2 this Halloween, and the streamer has delivered a new clip that showcases one of the perils of dating a pregnant werewolf.

Isla Fisher and Josh Gad are both returning to continue their bizarrely sweet romance in “Wolf Like Me” Season 2, which will premiere October 19, 2023 only on Peacock.

“Wolf Like Me” Season 2 will feature seven half-hour episodes.

In the new clip below, Josh Gad’s Gary discovers what happens when Mary (Isla Fisher) gets loose during a Full Moon.

Wolf Like Me stars Gad as a widowed father living in Australia and struggling with grief as he raises his daughter (Ariel Donoghue). Mary has a secret she can’t share with anyone, even as the universe seems to be bringing her and Gary together.”

Edgar Ramirez joins the duo for the upcoming second season.

In the second season, “Mary (Isla Fisher) and Gary (Josh Gad) leap into the next phase of their relationship and face their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy.

“As much as they try to have a ‘normal’ pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions looming over them. Will their child be a baby or a wolf pup? Just how long can they keep things secret from the rest of their family? And will what happened in the outback come back to haunt them? But when Mary’s former professor, Anton (Edgar Ramirez), suddenly reappears in her life, new secrets from Mary’s past are revealed, leaving Mary and Gary to question whether they’re even meant to be together.”

Abe Forsythe (Little Monsters) created the series and serves as writer, director, and executive producer.

I wrote of the series in my season two review, “Life’s mundanity has never been as infectiously funny or authentically winsome as it is through this found family unit trying to find their way through life when a pesky lycanthropic curse shapes every facet of it. The emotional stakes are higher than ever, but so is the series’ sense of magic and werewolf fun.”

Don’t miss this charming series when season two arrives on October 19 on Peacock.
