Fans of high-street designer collaboration collections listen up, because H&M has finally revealed the brand it will be teaming up with next.
Tapping up the designer label adored by everyone from Megan Fox and Kim Kardashian to Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner, Cardi B and Dua Lipa, H&M will be launching its collaboration collection with none other than the iconic house of Mugler.
Known, and adored, for its major designer collabs, H&M has previously launched collections with everyone from Erdem (2017) to Balmain (2015), Simone Rocha (2021), Moschino (2018), Giambattista Valli (2020), Jimmy Choo (2009), Versace (2011), Stella McCartney (2005), Isabel Marant (2013), Marni (2012) and Maison Martin Margiela (2013).
Set to launch this spring, the high street stalwart revealed the news in a much-anticipated announcement last month.
“H&M is proud to share that its next designer collaboration will be with the house of Mugler,” read the statement.
“The Mugler H&M collection, crafted under the direction of Mugler’s Creative Director Casey Cadwallader, will encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler. The collection will be available online and in selected stores in Spring 2023.”
“H&M’s history of designer collaborations is legendary and pioneering. or nearly two decades, H&M has been democratizing high fashion by offering global audiences the chance to own special pieces of high-end designer history.”
And giving us all a sneak peek of what’s to come, H&M this week unveiled our first look at the collection in the form of a denim-clad campaign image.
While the full collection is yet to be seen, it seems we can expect to see lots of Mugler’s iconic panelled denim, cut-out bodysuits and structured, cropped jackets.
Excited? Join the queue. (It’ll be a very long queue, be warned).
