Chloe Bailey, Woody Harrelson, and Olivia Colman are lending their talents to a new arena — Bob Dylan’s songbook. According to Variety, the trio are starring in a movie adaptation of “Girl From the North Country,” a Broadway musical featuring iconic Dylan songs like “All Along the Watchtower” and “Make You Feel My Love.”

The screen adaptation will be produced by Blueprint Pictures, the production company behind “The Banshees of Inisherin,” and will be written and directed by Conor McPherson, who also wrote the stage musical. Dylan himself has also given his blessing to McPherson and the show. “To be associated with Conor is one of the highlights of my professional life,” he said in a statement, per Variety. “It goes without saying the man is a genius for putting this thing together and I’m thrilled to be a part of the experience. My songs couldn’t be in better hands. The play had me crying at the end. I can’t even say why. When the curtain came down, I was stunned. I really was.”

It’s shaping up to be a big year for all three stars of the film. Bailey is gearing up to release her debut album as a solo artist and is also slated to star in Donald Glover’s new television project, “Swarm,” which is a successor to “Atlanta.” Harrelson’s film “Triangle of Sadness” is nominated for three awards at this year’s Oscars, including best picture. Meanwhile, Colman’s movie “Empire of Light” is also Oscar nominated, and she’s set to appear in Marvel and Disney+’s “Secret Invasion.”

Reps for Blueprint did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment, and the project doesn’t have a release date yet. Ahead, learn more the onscreen adaptation of “Girl From the North Country.”
