Emmys 2022: Tim Robinson Wins Best Actor in Short Form Series for I Think You Should Leave

While the series lost to Carpool Karaoke, Robinson himself is now an Emmy-winning actor

Tim Robinson is an Emmy Award winner. His performance as multiple characters in the second season of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson, the Netflix sketch series, won him Outstanding Actor in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. He won over fellow nominees Bill Burr (Bill Burr Presents Immoral Compass), Anthony A. Anderson (Anacostia), Brendan Gleeson (State of the Union), and Ikechukwu Ufomadu (Words With Ike).

I Think You Should Leave was also nominated for Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama, or Variety Series, but lost to Carpool Karaoke: The Series.

The second season of I Think You Should Leave included Robinson’s confident pitch in a series called Coffin Flop, a prank show featuring tons of prosthetic makeup and severe depression, and a pants-centric website with a super specific purpose that urgently requires for those who use it to give.

Other winners at the this weekend’s awards include Stranger Things for music supervision, The Beatles: Get Back for multiple awards including Outstanding Documentary Series, and Adele and the Super Bowl Halftime Show for variety special awards.
