Lindsie Chrisley: My Ex-Husband Keeps Threatening to Sue Me!

One relationship fixed.

Another growing worse by the minute.

Earlier this month, Lindsie Chrisley surprised many fans by explaining that she had reconciled with her famous dad, Todd, following an epic scandal in which Lindsie accused her father of threatening to release a sex tape she made years ago with a lover.

Yes, this really happened.

What prompted this change in feelings between loved ones?

Lindsie cited her July 2021 split from now-ex-husband Will Campbell as the basis for a newly-formed connection with her dad.

“After my divorce stuff had become public my dad had posted, ‘I’m here, I love you, whatever’s going on in your life right now I see it,” Christie told podcast listeners a few weeks ago.

“‘I’m working things out for the good for you. My child, there is nothing that you can do or have done that would make me love you less,’” Lindsie also recalled, praising her parent for taking such a step and saying such nice things.

Now, however?

Lindsie is opening up about a relationship that has fallen apart… with that same ex-husband.

The former Chrisley Knows Best star — who co-hosts the Coffee Convos and Southern Tea podcasts — recently revealed that Campbell is threatening to sue her if she doesn’t stop discussing him and their co-parenting situation on her broadcasts.

“I was told to stop talking about anything Will-related on the podcast,” Lindsie said on the most-recent episode, adding:

“I have been threatened that I’m going to be sued if I continue talking [publicly about Will].”

Lindsie Chrisley and Will Campbell are no longer married. They aren’t getting along well these days, either.

Lindsie and Will were married for nine years.

The former couple share a 3-year-old son named Jackson together and they started dating in 2009.

“He was my first love. We got together when we were 19 years-old, and over time we grew separately in different directions instead of together,” Lindsie told People magazine last July.

“I feel like I’ve become more independent, I’ve come more into myself, I’m more confident with myself and I just don’t feel that relationship gives me what I need anymore.

“I’ve outgrown the relationship.”

On this recent podcast, Lindsie said that Will has accused her of “cyber-bullying” him, emphasizing that Campbell didn’t care about being a topic of conversation on her podcast back when they were married… because he profited from the money she made at the time.

“I have had this platform since I was married to Will so it’s not like this is something after the fact, and I’m sharing it to be spiteful in any way,” Lindsie told listeners.

“It’s truly my experience that I am sharing. It’s not to make people look bad.”

Chrisley went on to say that she supported Campbell entirely during their relationship.

Lindsie wrapped up this segment of her new podcast by addressing her ex directly:

“This is a public notice that you can threaten to sue me all you want to.

“Anything that I say on here, either I can back up what I said, or it’s purely my opinion.

“I am commentating on the f**kery that is in my text messages, over the phone, or things that my son comes home telling me.

“It’s predatory behavior. And this is a public notice that I will discuss my co-parenting issues with Will publicly when I choose to do so.

“I feel like it’s important for me to share certain information to protect the integrity of my story. And I will freely talk about my life as I choose to.

“If they want to continue to prey and do whatever they chose to, I can’t stop them, just like they can’t stop me from speaking.”
