If you’ve ever checked the time at the exact moment it turned 11:11, it’s likely you already have a sense of what angel numbers are. It might sound a little ~ mystical ~ but numerology is actually a rapidly-expanding area of study. And if we’re open-minded enough to tune into it, we might just start reaping the results.
One of the most significant days in the field of numerology is the 11th November, AKA 11/11. Of course, this date is also Remembrance Day, which is one of the most important dates in the UK calendar, as we remember and honour those who lost their lives fighting in wars.
GLAMOUR wanted to learn more about why 11/11 is such an important date in numerology, speaking to Chris and Suzanne Styles, the founders of Numerology For Women, to find out what angel numbers are, what they mean, and how we can harness their power.
What are angel numbers?
According to Chris and Suzanne, “Repeating numbers (like 1111 or 2222 or 3333) or numbers that appear in a significant sequence (like 1234 or 1551 or 2020) are referred to as “angel numbers.”
They add, “The use of the name angel is because it’s believed that these are deeply significant spiritual messages for you from The Universe / Higher Power / Source Energy.”
What are the most significant angel numbers and what do they mean?
Chris and Suzanne explain that “the most significant angel numbers by far, are those which are associated with the purest master numbers of numerology, being 11, 22 and 33.”

“This number is associated with intuition, vision, illumination, and enlightenment expressing itself through you, the individual. When you see 11:11 for example, the message to you is intensely personal and is encouraging you to trust your intuition and do what is best for you.”

“This is The Master Builder feminine number, [which] is associated with material matters, planning and executing on a grand scale and achieving much through diplomatically and intelligently leveraging the collective efforts of others around a common practical vision. When you see 22:22 for example, the message to you is around others and the importance of cooperative teamwork.”

“This is The Master Teacher creative-child number, [which] is associated with communication, self-expression, imagination and having fun expressing itself through responsible relationships. When you see 3333 for example, the message is to be creative and to think imaginatively out of the box.”
What does 11/11 mean?
“11/11 is the repeating sequence of the number 1, which is numerology links with self, or stated another way, you! Repeating ones is a signal from the invisible realm that is encouraging you to be bold, brave and to pursue your own leadership journey of individualism.”
How can you harness the power of angel days?
Chris and Suzanne explain that, “The 11th of November 2021 is a number 9 universal day (11.11.2021 = 11+11+2021 = 2043 = 2+0+4+3 = 9).
“To be in harmony with the natural universal vibration of the day and to also harness its power, you would be well advised to set aside a chunk of time on that day to do important number 9 related things (e.g., selflessly helping others, closing out what needs to be completed etc.).
“The 13th of November 2021 (13+11+2021 = 2045 = 2+0+4+5 = 11) has the master number 11 in frame, so it would be a good day for you to do things for yourself and to hand over bothersome challenges to your intuition, which will always deliver the right answer back to you, if you’re prepared to allow this.”
