If you haven’t heard of KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Foundation, we suggest you get acquainted with it pronto. The a full-coverage foundation balm went next-level viral on TikTok last year for its incredible ability to melt into skin, covering every imaginable blemish in one simple sweep and promising a healthy-looking, non-cakey base for every skin tone. But what really entranced people was its ability to look and feel almost completely undetectable, despite being full on in its level coverage.
Now, to the beauty world’s delight, the vegan beauty brand has announced the imminent launch of KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full-Coverage Concealer, which promises the same iconic lightweight yet full coverage with extreme long-wear staying power as its predecessor.
How? Well, the concealer is packed with ultra-concentrated “interLace pigments” that seamlessly diffuse into skin, providing full coverage and maximum vibrancy to avoid a cakey finish. Like the foundation, the formula has also been infused with antioxidant-rich apple extract to nourish the delicate eye area and raspberry stem cells to offer lasting hydration and help to prevent any creasing, which also helps maintain that natural, second-skin finish.
As well as looking dreamy on skin, Good Apple Concealer has also been also sustainably crafted – the vial cap contains 70% post-consumer recycled materials and the tube and box are fully recyclable. Plus, it’s 100% cruelty-free and vegan, of course.
When it comes to application, the concealer has a doe-foot applicator that is meant to mimic the shape of a fingertip, allowing you to easily deposit product, even on inner corners. There are 32 shades to choose from, and a diverse array of undertones, including yellow, pink and copper, to suit every skin tone, as well as provide a highlighting option (choose one shade lighter than your skin) and colour correcting abilities (to cancel purple or blue undertones around the eyes, choose a shade with a yellow or golden undertone to balance, or to brighten discolouration, choose a shade with peach or copper undertone to correct).
All that remains to be decided is whether it lives up to its big sister, but we’ll let TikTok be the judge of that.
